0603,0805,1210,3528 and 5050 refer to the size (inch / public LED soft light [1] system) of LED, the following is detailed description of these specifications（www.ctledlights.com）:
 
0603: the size of LED is 1.0mm in length, 0.5mm in width. It is called 1005 in metric, but 0603 in British.

0805: the size of LED is 2.0mm in length, 1.25mm in width. It is called 2125 in metric, but 0805 in British.

1210: 3528 in metric,  the LED is 3.5mm in length, 2.8mm in width. It is called 3528 in metric but 1210 in British.

3528: means that the length of LED is 3.5mm, width is 2.8mm.

5050: means that the length of LED is 5.0mm, width is 5.0mm, the industry referred to 5050.

Most manufacturers of LED strips use mostly 3528 and 5050, waterproof or non-waterproof required. 5 meters per roll for normal packing.
